Each dose delivers a concentrated source of active polyphenolic compounds, particularly curcumin, optimized for superior bioavailability and absorption.
We simmer and macerate turmeric, known for enhancing the release and activation of curcumin, making it more bioavailable for the body to absorb. Studies indicate that isolated curcumin is less effective than turmeric, showing diminished anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Therefore, Coco-Gold utilizes whole turmeric rhizomes rather than isolated curcumin. 3 The research suggests that using whole turmeric may be better than using curcumin alone for improved results. Curcumin is a beneficial component in turmeric, but when it is purified and isolated, some other helpful substances present in the whole turmeric extract are removed, including an antioxidant protein called β-turmerin, fats, minerals, carbohydrates, complex arabinogalactan, and essential oils like turmerone, ar-turmerone, and zingiberene.
